In Loving Memory of

William Nastri

August 25,1949-January 16, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Nastri on January 16,

2025. He is survived by his brother Ken, sister- in- law Kathy, and three cherished

nieces, Jennifer, Lindsay (Jessie, Dottie, Teddy Costa) and Erin (Jameson). He was

preceded in death by his parents, brother Jay and sister Dorothea.

Uncle Billy was devoted to his nieces, always interested in what they were up to and

what he could do for them. He was a huge Yankee and Jets fan and had every hat, shirt

and team paraphernalia possible. As many know he was friends with Billy Joel and as

"Billy the Kid" he stayed very connected to "a town known as Oyster Bay Long Island."

Billy had many other loves, all animals, especially Sadsop, his motorcycle, skiing,

golfing and most of all time spent with friends. He recently attended his OBHS Reunion

and could not stop talking about being with so many wonderful friends, the stories they

shared and the meaningful relationships they still have.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St.

Dominic Church 93 Anstice Street, Oyster Bay, New York.
