William (Bill) Hefner 82, of Edna TX passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026. Son of the late James and Elinor Hefner, Bill grew up in Oyster Bay with his loving family and is the cherished brother of Mary Ellen Rahilly and dear uncle of Michael (Colleen) Rahilly and Karen (David) D’Elia. He was the devoted companion of the late Helen Darlene Huff and her caring family. Bill served our country in the U.S. Army and was an avid horticulturist and nature lover who enjoyed music and a love of animals.
