Susan Maryann Kenney (nee Nelson), on December 5, 2025, Beloved wife of 54 years of Gerard P., Loving mother of Jennifer (Michael), Sean (Katherine) and Christine (Brad).

Cherished grandmother of Eamon, Shannon, Ashlyn, Summer, Declan, Vivienne, Sean, Maverick, Dylan, Evelyn, and Colette.

Dear sister of Michael, Kathy, Patricia, Steven, and Maryann. Devoted daughter of Ann E Nelson and the late Arther. Daughter-in-law of Raymond L. and Marie P. Kenney.

She was a longtime resident of Oyster Bay, having attended St. Dominic's Grammar and High Schools, where she achieved the Academic Honor of Class Valedictorian. She then went onto Hofstra University graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Computer Science/Math. She had a very successful career beginning in the defense industry and then in the financial services sector.

Susan was very active; she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her dear friends. She was a woman of faith who served the Lord. She loved all sports, especially those her children participated in, of which there were many!

Family will receive friends Monday 12/15 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Mass Tuesday 12/16 9:30 a.m. Chapel of St. Dominic R.C.C

Interment to follow Calverton National Cemetery.
