Robert “Bob” Sussi

Robert “Bob” Sussi passed away, Friday July 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, coach, and friend, Bob leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and dedication to those he loved.

Bob was the beloved husband of the late Georgia Lanzaro Sussi. He was the proud and loving father of Christina (Todd), Georgia Lynn (Michael), and Ken (Jaclyn). His greatest joy was his family, and he cherished every moment spent with his six grandchildren: Alexandra, Andrew, Sean, Ryan, Madison, and Christian. He was a devoted grandfather whose love and encouragement will remain with them always.

Bob is also survived by his brother, Tom, and his sister, Mary Lou. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Sussi.

Oyster Bay, Long Island is where Bob called home and built lifelong friendships that he treasured throughout his life. After retirement, he and Georgia made their home in Bonita Springs, Florida, where he enjoyed golfing, the sunshine, good company, and time with friends of Spring Run.

Bob had a lifelong passion for sports and was especially known as a dedicated football and lacrosse coach. He was respected not only for teaching the game but also for mentoring young athletes, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and integrity. The impact he made on the lives of countless players extended far beyond the playing field.

Whether sharing stories with lifelong friends, cheering on his favorite teams, or spending time with his family, Bob lived a life centered on the people he loved. He will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, quick wit, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.

Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
