Robert Davis of Oyster Bay, NY passed away on January 9, 2021 after a memorable life at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 30 years to Deirdre. Loving stepfather of Joseph Coyle, Scott (Suzette) Coyle, and Kristin (Michael) McGrath. Step Grandfather of Kevin (Kristin) Coyle, and Step Great-Grandfather of Hailey Coyle. Loyal dear friend of Betty Hauser, Michael Davis, and Tony Testa. Beloved son of the late Marion Davis, Dear brother of the late 2ndLt. William L. Davis. Bob graduated from SUNY Farmingdale in 1950 with a 2 year degree in Road Engineering and worked in the Nassau Co. Dept. of Public Works for 59 years, retiring as Supt. Of Highway Maintenance. He was a Member of the East Norwich Fire Company for 66 years. Playing Golf with his many friends was his passion. Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. 293 South Street Oyster Bay Friday 2-4, & 7-9 p.m. (Masks required to enter.)
