Richard G. DeJesu, 83, of Oyster Bay, NY unexpectedly passed away on April 4th, 2024. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Bladykas). Loving father of Richard (Shelley), Renee (Patrick) and Alan (Dawn). Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Danielle, Joseph, and John. Dear brother of Beverly (Kerber) and the late Frank. Also survived by many loving relatives. Richard was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, Past Commander of AMVETS Department of New York, Massapequa Post 88 and Oyster Bay Post 21. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to everyone he met. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, April 9th from 4pm-8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday, April 10th at 9:30 am at St. Dominic's Chapel in Oyster Bay, NY. Burial with military honors at Locust Valley Cemetery in Locust Valley, NY.
