Raymond DeCarlo on May 26, 2024 of East Norwich, New York. Beloved husband of Cheryl. Loving father of Christopher and Stephen. Cherished son, brother and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Raymond (Ray) was born in Brooklyn New York and raised on the South Shore of Long Island where he met Cheryl. They moved to the North Shore of Long Island to raise their family. Ray was a graduate of The University of Albany with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Ray began his career in Insurance at AIG while pursuing his Masters of Business Administration at Hofstra University. During his 22 years at AIG he rose to the position of Executive Vice President. From there, he moved to Senior Marketing Director at Frank Crystal and Company. Most recently, Ray was a Senior Vice President for financial institutions at Berkley Professional. Ray loved his family and friends, seeing his horses at the barn and track, playing golf, watching sports and listening to music, especially Coldplay. Ray was truly the most generous, caring and kindest man who everyone adored. Ray bravely fought his illness and was a true inspiration to all.

His biggest joy besides his family was his love of horses. So much so, Ray and Cheryl partnered with West Point Thoroughbreds Inc. to become racehorse owners.
