Whelan- Katherine on April 6, 2011. Lifelong resident of Oyster Bay. Beloved wife of Jim Whelan, they celebrated 70 years of marriage on December 14, 2010. Loving mother of James (Bonnie), Thomas (Karen), and Cecelia (Bill) Wilkinson. Devoted grandmother of 9, and great-grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Malverne (Pat) Harpell.
