Helen Mata Gugerty
Helen M. Gugerty On August 9, 2015 of Locust Valley, N.Y. Beloved wife of the late Leo J. Loving mother of Lee (Linda Goller), Merrill, Brian (Kathy Bartley), David (Helene), and Paul (Lisa). Cherished Nanny of Sean, Ryan, Dylan, Grace, Tighe, Anna, Jane, Emma, and Paige. Helen served in the Army Nurse Cadet Corp during WWII. She was a longtime school nurse, working in several local schools, a volunteer at Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club, and a soup kitchen volunteer at The INN.
Funeral Information
Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. 293 South Street Oyster Bay, Friday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday 10 a.m. Interment to follow Locust Valley Cemetery.
