Evelyn McNiece McNIECE - Evelyn Ellen (nee Flynn), on April 23, 2011 in her 87th year. Resident of East Norwich for 56 years. Beloved wife of the late James Gerard, loving mother of James (Christina) of Wichita, KS; Mary Ellen Hawn (Gates) of Far Hills, NJ; Michael (Janice) of Cimarron, KS; Christopher of Oyster Bay, NY; and Nancy McNiece of Sea Cliff, NY. Cherished grandmother of Joshua McNiece, Jamie Gibson, Jessica McNiece, Sean McNiece, John Blacharski, Samantha Blacharski, and Christopher Blacharski. Predeceased by her sister Jean. Mrs. McNiece was a long-time employee of B. Altman Co. in Manhasset and enjoyed her family friends, her home, antiquing, and gardening. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 9th, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Dominic's R.C. Church in Oyster Bay. Interment will be at Locust Valley Cemetery with her husband James.
