Please visit our online memorial and guestbook Eleanor A. DeJesu, 69, of Enfield, died peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Manhattan, New York on November 21, 1939, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Anne (McAllister) Gaynor. Eleanor has been a resident of Enfield since 1987 and a faithful communicant of Holy Family Church. She was a teacher's aide for the Enfield Public School System. Eleanor enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a very special love for her grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Eleanor is survived by he beloved husband of forty-nine years, Frank A. DeJesu; her children, Laura A. (Barry) Palzewski of Oyster Bay, NY, Frank A. (Hilda) III of Arlington, TX, and James B. of Bayside, NY; her sister, Carol Robertson of Brooklyn, NY; and ten grandchildren. Funeral Information Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. Wednesday 6-9 p.m. Interment Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY. Family and Friends may meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m..
