Ryan Christopher Farrell FARRELL - Ryan Christopher, 42, of Oyster Bay, NY, died suddenly from heart failure on August 18th, 2014. Ryan grew up in Old Brookville, graduated from North Shore High School, and received his B.A. in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. Ryan was a transportation and logistics specialist who held supervisory and managerial positions at Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. and Farrell Forwarding Company before starting and managing his own Trucking and Transportation Company in 2008. Ryan was a compassionate and gentle soul whose tremendous capacity for love and affection led him to become a N.Y.S. Emergency Medical Technician and a six year volunteer member of the Glenwood Fire Company. He treasured animals, especially his beloved German Shepherds, and really enjoyed fishing. Most blessed to have been able to share his light and love were his wife, Amy (nee Allecia), and his three children: Skylar, 13; Griffen, 10; and Gavin; 8; his mother, Alice M. Brussell (Douglas) of Northport, NY; his father James (Eileen) of Old Brookville, NY; his siblings: James (Amanda) Farrell,Southbury,(CT); Kelly Betts (Christopher) (Orange County, CA); Justin (Karina) Farrell (White Plains, NY); Shayna Farrell, Danielle Farrell, and Paul Ordonez (NY, NY); and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will be held on Friday August 22 4 p.m. at the Community Church of Syosset 36 Church Street Syosset.
