Remo J. Boffardi Remo J Boffardi a teacher and publisher born May 4, 1926. Passed away Saturday December 27, 2014 at the age of 88. A World War II Veteran of the Pacific Theater and star allegiate soccer goalie for St. John's University. Remo was employed as an elementary school teacher at Wheeler Avenue Elementary School in Valley Stream, New York for some thirty years. President of Educational Word-Cell Programs Inc. He authored and published numerous vocabulary development programs utilizing Greek and Latin prefixes, roots and suffixes. His publications were sold across the United States and worldwide. Devoted husband to Florence, loving father to Raymond. Brother to Lucy Mandile. And survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Family will receive friends at the Francis P.
