Leo Hiatrides Leo Hiatrides age 89 of Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. on Sept. 13, 2011. Leo was born on Jan. 10, 1922. Former owner of Spartan Concrete. Leo lived a long and adventurous life. He loved to sail and was featured in sail magazine in his 70's for his accomplishments. He also took up sculpting later in life and had his work featured at many art shows. His other interests include traveling, skiing, golf and tennis. He was a long time member of both Sagamore Yacht Club and Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club both in Oyster Bay. Survived by beloved companion Delores Sharkey, daughter Diane, granddaughter Meredith and nephew Marc (Gina) and family. Also survived by Dolores' children John, Jeanne, Marianne and their families.
