JOHN B. DEUTSCH Deutsch- John B. formally of San Diego, Ca. and Kings Park, N.Y. passed away on April 29, 2012 in his 82nd year after a long battle with COPD. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Jerome). Loving father of Eileen (Joe) Pietrofere, Colleen Carone, Maureen Rubin, John B. Jr. (Tammy) , Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Melissa, Niles, Julianna, Blake, Kristina, Joey and Seth. Dear brother of the late Morton, Irene Schmitt, and the late Mary Ann Giles. Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He leaves a close dear friend back in San Diego, Gloria Satterwhite. Proud Navy Veteran who served his country during the Korean War with his closest longtime Navy buddy Rocky who have remained great friends through the years along with other Navy veterans in Fl., Pa., and San Diego. John graduated in 1946 from Hempstead High School. He tended bar over the years at Mariners Inn in Northport, Indian Hills Country Club in Fort Salonga, Harbor Inn in Halesite, J J's in Huntington Station. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and V.F.W. John loved his San Francisco Giants, NY Giants, NY Rangers, NY Knicks and the ponies. Funeral Information Visiting at the Francis P.
