Please visit our Online memorial and Guestbook James G. McNiece Long time resident of East Norwich, died peacefully on October 16, 2010 at the age of 87. Mr. Mc Niece was born May 12, 1923 in the Bronx. He was the son of Peter and Anna Mc Niece. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Evelyn. His Children James (Christina), Wichita, Ks; Mary Ellen (Gates) Hawn, Far Hills NJ; Michael (Janice), Cimarron, Ks; Christopher, Oyster Bay, NY; Nancy Blacharski , Sea Cliff, NY; along with seven grandchildren. Mr. McNiece was a retired cement mason, Marine Veteran of WW II that included four invasions including Iwo Jima. He enjoyed traveling, golf, reading and most of all family gatherings. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Dominic Chapel in Oyster Bay on Friday October 22, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. .
