Christopher James Gerken Christopher J. Gerken -aged 44, passed quietly in his sleep in the early morning hours of Friday, March 3, 2017. Christopher was an extremely proud and loving father to Giavanna. He is also survived by his mother Karen (Diehl); his father & stepmother Frederick & Michele; his grandfather George Diehl; his 3 sisters Mariah (Gregory &their children) Karpavicius , Heather (Salvatore)Magro & Sara. He also leaves behind his fiancee Debbie Buffa and her children. He will be dearly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Funeral Information Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 7th from 7-9p.m. , Wednesday March 8th 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic's Chapel, Oyster Bay on Thursday March 9th 10:30 a.m. Interment to immediately follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
