Modestine "Marty" Walker-  Passed on May 25, 2020, formerly of Garden City Park. Beloved wife of the late Bennie Lee Walker. Cherished mother of Ernestine Davis, and George Davis. Dear step mother of the late Jeanie and Stanley Walker. Devoted mother to a host of foster children Kim, Roberta, Robin Jackson, and the late Martin Gunn. She is survived by her children, her daughter-in-law Rose, a host of Grandchildren Keiana, Kurrin, Wiley III, Ariel, David B., Yvette, Bonita, Karen, Poppa, Chris, Mildred, Kevin, Matthew, Desmond and David, her great grandchildren, Ariana, David Jr. and Marina. Marty considered one of her greatest accomplishments was being a Foreman for the Long Island Rail Road. Her children consider her greatest accomplishment was to have raised them with the upmost respect and love any mother could give a child.  Due the circumstances and restrictions in place a private funeral will be held for the family on June 13, 2020 with interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery.
