Mimi L. Greenstein, March 30,1933-September 23, 2026. Mimi was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and true friend. Mimi was a gentle soul, kind, caring, enjoyed having fun, sweet, and most of all loving. Miss Greenstein’s first and only job was being a first-grade teacher at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Oyster Bay, NY. She loved her job. Miss Greenstein loved every child and loved educating every child that was in her classroom during her career. Mimi enjoyed traveling here and abroad. Outside of teaching, Mimi’s passion was playing Tennis. Mimi was very competitive and won many trophies on Long Island tennis courts. Mimi also enjoyed the beach and snorkeling in the Caribbean islands. Mimi always walked around Oyster Bay, often running into her former students, stopping to chat and “catch up” with them and their lives.
