Melanie Gorman Gorman, Melanie of Bayville, NY took her last peaceful breath on December 24, 2015 with her daughter, Bridgette Gorman on her left and her son Thomas Gorman on her right. Her other son Patrick Douglas Gorman was present in spirit having predeceased her in 2007. She graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree and then Oneonta State School of Education on a master's program. She taught grade school at Hugh R. Jones Elementary School in Utica NY and then at Newfield Central School District outside Ithaca NY. She provided administrative assistance for her husband's thoroughbred veterinary practice at Belmont Park. Later in life she worked as a certified paralegal and licensed real estate salesperson for Daniel Gale in East Norwich. She was the most dedicated mother on earth and will be missed by all including her sister Josephine Starr and beloved granddaughter Shane Gorman Funeral Information A memorial Mass will be held on Monday January 4th, 2016 at St. Gertrude R.C.Church in Bayville at 10 a.m.
