Obituary

Joseph William Marmorale, Born January 22, 1938, in Glen Cove, New York

Passed peacefully with his beloved family by his side on December 11, 2022. Joe was educated at

Staunton Military Academy in Staunton, Virginia. He was a devoted friend to all his lifelong acquaintances, childhood

friends, and business associates acquired throughout his long and diverse life. President of his

construction company for many years with his late brother Frank (Sonny), the construction world was one of

his passions, and he strove for perfection in all his undertakings. He was also an avid gardener and

landscaper with his passion and determination to grow giant tomatoes on the east coast. Joe was

enthusiastic and proud of his family and their accomplishments, always eager to share his pride with

others.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Boyd Marmorale, their three beautiful children,

daughter Cheryl Joseffy her companion Roy Demma, daughter Christine (Michael)

Donnelly, and son Frederick Marmorale (Mia). Joe enjoyed watching their six grandchildren grow to
