Jessica Emily Silverman

May 21, 1993 — Jul 26, 2026

Bayville, New York

Jessica Emily Silverman died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Sunday, July 26th after a short illness.

She lived more lives in her 33 years than most people do in 100.

Jessie was a talented graphic designer, a caring soul, a loving aunt, and sister and so much more that words cannot do justice.

She is survived her parents Peter Silverman and Dr. Beverley Kraszewski-Silverman, her fiance Danny Basile, as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law Hollie and Max DiDuro, Rebekah and Vaughn Silverman-Burke, and brother Benjamin Silverman.

She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephew Elora, Edison, and Everley. She taught them art, skateboarding, swimming and how to play guitar.

Jessica graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Graphic Design from Lynn University and won several awards, including top collegiate graphic designer in South Florida. In high school, she won first place in New York State for industrial design. She worked for major companies and artists, including guitarist Joe Bonamassa and Crosby, Stills and Nash. She was the technical genius of IV Evolution Medical and had her own studio and business.

Jessica was also an accomplished artist, semi professional snowboarder and skate boarder, dedicated dog mom and multi-instrumentalist.

She was such a talented skateboarder. She was the first girl to ever go down the 20 foot drop at Woodward and was given free camp for weeks to instruct others.

She also competed in the U.S. Snowboard championships and spent a winter at Aspen.

She was well traveled, accompanying her mom on a medical mission to Peru, vacationing in Mexico and Iceland, spending a summer in Greece with her best friend, and going to Israel on Birthright.

When her mother was attacked and mugged in Miami, Jessie took on the suspects herself, climbing like a monkey to scratch and punch the main culprit.

Jessica was sweet and kind. She was an animal lover who spent more time cooking for her pets than for herself.

Recently her main hobby was using the 3D printer Danny got her, spending hours staring at her slowly weaving creations. She also would pick flowers she thought were pretty from public places whenever she walked Bane, her and Danny’s dog.

Jessica had character, intelligence, talent and a sweet soul. Her smile and laugh were contagious, but her kind heart is what lives on forever.

May her memory be a blessing.

A private family service is being held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Cove Animal Rescue in Glen Cove, NY or Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club in Locust Valley, NY
