On August 9, 2023, Jeanette Bjorklund of Mill Neck and Locust Valley, NY, and

Marco Island, FL, passed away peacefully at her residence with her children by her

side.

Jeanette was born on March 13, 1936, in New York, NY to Stanley and Nellie

Mostow. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Predeceased by

her beloved husband, Bruce Bjorklund, and her sister, Lorraine Mostowicz.

Loving mother of Alison Collins (John) and Brad Bjorklund (Martha).

Cherished grandmother of Trevor (Erica), Tyler, and Courtney Collins and, Charlie and Kate Bjorklund.

Jeanette began her career at IBM and then worked for years at Country

Lady in Oyster Bay while raising her children. Effervescent, she was always the

life of the party. Gram adored her grandchildren -- every holiday, birthday, and

vacation was a fun-filled adventure, especially on Marco Island. Whether it was

holding alligators at Jungle Larry's, parasailing, or enjoying a day on a pontoon

boat, it was always fun with Gram.

There will be a small graveside service at Locust Valley Cemetery on Monday,

August 14, 2023, at 11:00 am.
