Obituary

Elizabeth A. (Betty) Kempton of Syosset, at the age of 81. Retired Captain USAF, Served during

the Vietnam Conflict. Worked as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist in various Metropolitan.

Hospitals. Devoted and active member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church. The fourth of

eight children, born to Kenneth & Grace Ahern Kempton. Survived by Vincent & Maureen

Kempton, of Phoenix Arizona, Joseph & Helen Kempton of Melbourne, Florida, Mary & Bill

Fay of Syosset, N.Y., and Charles Kempton of Williston Park, N.Y, also survived by her sister-in-

law Geraldine Kempton of Lindenhurst, N.Y. and brother-in-law Paul Baruccheri of Levittown,

N.Y. Predeceased by her brother Eugene Kempton, her sister Grace Baruccheri, and sister-in-law.

Joanne Kempton. She is the loving aunt of 20 nieces and nephews and 40 great nieces and

nephews. Visitation Wednesday, January 3rd , 7PM – 9 PM, Thursday, January 4th , 2PM – 4PM &

7PM – 9PM. Mass of Christian Burial, 9:45 AM, Friday, January 5th , at St. Edward the

Confessor, R.C. Church in Syosset, N.Y.

Interment to follow Calverton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul c/o  Church of St. Edward the Confessor.
