Elaine G. Puleio Puleio, Elaine G. of Melville formerly of Bayside, Queens. Elaine G. Puleio passed from this world on November 16, 2017 after a short illness. She was 77 years old. Elaine was born in Queens, New York on October 8th, 1940 to Mary G. Hines and James J. Hines. She attended catholic school and graduated from St. Johns Nursing school where she worked as a Registered Nurse. Elaine used her talented nursing skills at several hospitals as a pediatric nurse. She also worked as a school nurse for the New York City school system before retiring. Elaine derived great joy from being with her family and listening to her grandchildren laugh. She was a caring and loving person who was the mother everyone would want. Elaine is predeceased by her loving husband, Santo (John) Puleio. She also leaves behind her son, John Michael Puleio (wife Michelle) and daughter, Ann Marie Brady (husband Chris). Elaine was adored by her grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Morgan, John Henry and Hudson, who will miss her dearly. Elaine is also survived by her sister Maureen Leibmann, brother James Hines and sister Kathy Abrams. She is loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. We will carry Elaine in our hearts and miss her, each and every day, until we meet again. We ask you to keep Elaine and her family in your prayers.
