Edward J. McEvoy Sr. On September 9, 2024, Lifelong resident of Oyster Bay. Beloved husband of the late Ellen. Loving father of Edward Jr. (Jessica) and Kerry (Eric) Golden. Cherished grandfather of Eric Jr., and Thomas. Dear brother of the late James, Robert, and Jean Callaghan. Survived by his dear sister-in-law Ann.
Life member Ex-chief of The Oyster Bay Fire Co., #1. Member of the Oyster Bay Volunteer and Exempt Fireman's Benevolent Assoc, Proud US Army Veteran. Member of the Am-Vets and The American Legion.
Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4, & 7-9 p.m.
Firematic Services Sunday 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass Monday 10:30 a.m. Chapel of St. Dominic's R.C.Church.
Interment to follow Locust Valley Cemetery.
