IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward
Eaton
May 2, 1961 – October 23, 2025
Edward Joseph Eaton of Bradenton FL, died on October 23rd, 2025, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Laura Eaton of 20 years. Loving father of Haley (Peter). Ed is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.
Ed was born in Glen Cove, NY, and grew up in Oyster Bay. Ed graduated from Oyster Bay High School before serving proudly in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1983. Ed enjoyed multiple careers such as Home Depot, BJ's Wholesale Club, and River Strand Golf and Country Club. Ed had a remarkable ability to restore, improve, and strengthen both the places he worked and the people around him.
Ed's passions were as wide-ranging as his talents. He loved hot rods, fishing, boats, music, and spending time outdoors. Just this year, he and Laura had recently traveled with the "Brady Bunch crew" to Virginia, where he especially enjoyed the rodeo. He was joyfully preparing for his daughter Haley's wedding to Peter Certo.
When he wasn't working on his cars or his boat, Ed and Laura were often traveling, cruising, or visiting friends and family.
He found peace in nature, riding his bike through Robinson Nature Reserve, exercising, and swimming in his pool—no matter how cold it was.
Ed will be remembered as a man of strength, humor, and love. Ed leaves a lasting impact on those around him. He will be deeply missed, and the memories we shared with him will remain forever in our hearts.
