Colleen Ann Le Guelaff- formerly from Bayside, NY passed away on May 20, 2026. She was born on May 7, 1958 in the Bronx, New York. Colleen spent her childhood growing up in Queens, New York, before eventually making East Norwich, NY, her home. She always carried with her a warmth and loving spirit that made her unforgettable to everyone she met.
Colleen especially loved reading a good book, traveling, and her many trips to Bermuda, a place that brought her great happiness. She loved being anywhere by water and watching a good sunset, and just like those warm, glowing colors would light up the sky, her smile would do the same to every room she walked into.
Known as the life of the party and a true social butterfly, Colleen had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and special. Her kind heart and spirit, and vibrant personality brought joy wherever she went. She treasured time spent with family and friends and created countless memories through gatherings at their house, milestone celebrations, and adventures throughout her life.
Colleen was predeceased by her mother Lauretta, and her father Joseph Murphy. Her in-laws Yvette and Theophile Le Guelaff. Her brother and sister in law Dan & Sharon Le Guelaff.
Colleen’s greatest joy was her family. A beloved wife to Jacques Le Guelaff; a loving mother to her children Brittany and Jack, and mother-in-law to Devon; a cherished sister to Barbara Murphy-Nacinovich and sister-in-law to John Nacinovich; and loving aunt to Andrew, Eric, Jennifer, and their families. Along with many loving cousins, extended family members, and dear friends and neighbors.
Above all else, Colleen’s greatest love was her beloved family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely, and the countless people whose lives she touched with her warmth and compassion.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the most special way.
