Benjamin C. Rhodes, husband of the late Dorothy "Dodie" Rhodes, passed away on Saturday June 16th at the age of 74. Ben was born on September 27th, 1943 to Benjamin D. Rhodes and Marguerite  Rhodes. He was a long time resident of Oyster Bay and an entrepreneur who dabbled in many different fields over the years. He spent 27 years in the towing business, but also worked as a mechanic, ran a bar, owned a slot car track, a vending route, and a mail-order billiards company. His interests were vast and he often said that if a business venture stopped being fun, he simply did something else. Of all of his many accomplishments, he felt that his family was his greatest. He leaves behind three daughters- Noreen Cassidy (Jon), Marguerite "Beth" DeLeo (Richard), and Jennifer Zoffranieri (Adam), five granddaughters- Kimberly, Tara, Jessica, Kayla, and Kelly, and three great-grandchildren.
