Aura Maria Cortes on October 3, 2023. Beloved homemaker and caretaker for the Hooton family for over 50 years. She was a caring and loving friend to those in need. She loved cooking and painting and was devout to her Catholic faith with daily markings in her bible. Aura spent the last few years as a resident at the Oyster Bay Manor and quickly became a friend to all. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Visiting will be at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral home on Thursday from 2-5 pm. Mass of Christian burial on Friday 11:30 a.m. at the chapel of St. Dominic Church. Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
