Anne B. Fogarty passed away on May 27, 2026, in Glen Cove, New York. She was 92 years old.Born on February 12, 1934, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Anne was the daughter of John J. and Anna Dohmann Luksic. She was predeceased by her sisters, Teresa McElwee and Marie, and her brothers, John (Lucille) and Joseph Luksic. Anne was the beloved wife of the late Edward M. Fogarty, with whom she shared more than fifty years of marriage, and a life rooted in faith, love, and family. She was also predeceased by her cherished daughter, Maureen. She is survived by her loving children: Edward (Lauren), John (Sally), Patrick, Marianne (Robert), Christopher (Kelly), and MaryEllen (Christian), and by her treasured grandchildren, Kathryn, Patrick, Claire, Danielle, Conor, Matthew, Emmet, Luke (Hannah), Finn, Aidan, Christian, Kate, Kasey, and Cole. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary Woods and Helen Donohue, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.Anne earned her degree in nursing and began her career at the Brooklyn VA. After raising her six children, she returned to nursing and later served as a school nurse at Eastwoods in Oyster Bay Cove. Caring for others was at the heart of who she was. Her deep faith guided her life and her service. She was an active volunteer in her church, including time in the food pantry and as teaching religious education, and she instilled those same values of faith, compassion, and responsibility in her family. Anne will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and quiet grace. She created a home centered on faith and love, laying a foundation that kept her family close and continues to sustain them. The bonds she nurtured remain a lasting source of support and connection for her children and grandchildren. Her family is especially grateful that she spent her final weeks surrounded by those she loved, including the joyful celebration of her first grandchild’s wedding—a moment filled with the family and togetherness she cherished most. She showed us how to care for one another, how to keep faith at the center of our lives, and how to stay close as a family. We will carry that with us always
