Ann J. Doran of Oyster Bay passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, at age 102. Born on February 9, 1924, Ann lived a long, beautiful, and meaningful life surrounded by her family's love. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family deeply and took great pride in the generations that followed her. She was the middle of nine children. Her love, strength, and presence will remain a lasting part of the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert V. Doran; her son, Robert V. Doran Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Jeannine Doran. She is survived by her daughter, Verna H. (Paul) Maidel; her grandchildren, Michele (Michael), Marc, Melinda, Jennifer (Peter), Robert C. (Dianne); and her great-grandchildren Sean, Lindsey, Charlotte, Harper, Emma, and Kellyanne. Ann's 102 years were filled with family, memories, and a lifetime of love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the family she loved so dearly. May she rest peacefully, reunited with those she loved and lost.
