Albert J. Breneisen

Albert J. Breneisen, of Oyster Bay, New York, and Singer Island, Florida, entered into

eternal rest on April 1, 2026. He was 91 years of age.

Born in Brooklyn, Albert was a man of keen intellect. A graduate of New York University,

he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School. For many years, he

was a distinguished practitioner of Intellectual Property Law as a partner at Kenyon &

Kenyon LLP in Manhattan, where he was held in high esteem for his brilliance and

professional integrity.

While his career was marked by excellence, his greatest devotion was to his family. He

was the beloved husband of Helen (née Sabalja) for 66 years. Together, they enjoyed a

life of travel and laughter, rooted in a deep and abiding love for one another.

Al is survived by his wife, Helen; his grandchildren, Jessica, Dennis (Elisha), and

Alexandra; his great-grandchildren, Ava and Jaxon; and his brother, Bill. He now joins

his beloved daughter, Helen, and granddaughter, Dana, who predeceased him.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, April 9, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00

p.m. at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, 293 South St, Oyster Bay, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 10, at 10:30 a.m. at St.

Dominic’s Chapel, Anstice Street, Oyster Bay. Interment to follow at Locust Valley

Cemetery.
