Our History
Francis P. DeVine, a lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, founded our funeral home in 1946. From day one, Francis set a standard of personal and dignified service, committing himself to offering unmatched compassion to every family that walks through our doors.
We remain committed to those standards. Because every person is unique, we provide personalized services that reflect each life. As we say, "Every life is a life worth celebrating."
Although we have made many renovations and updates to the funeral home since our 1946 opening, we have preserved the building's original warmth and charm. Since 1946, we have been striving to meet the needs of the families we serve. We now offer our family comfort room, a private, quiet space designed to provide emotional comfort and privacy to the immediate family and close friends of the deceased. It allows them to gather, grieve, and compose themselves away from the primary visitation or service areas. Offering coffee, tea, water, and light snacks.
Families may choose to bring in catering, or we can help you plan and work with local caterers should you wish.
