"Our Family Serving Your Family Since 1946"

Our History

Francis P. DeVine, a lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, founded our funeral home in 1946. From day one, Francis set a standard of personal, dignified services and committed himself to offering unmatched compassion to every family to walk through our doors.

Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home continues to be committed to those firm standards today. Because we believe that every person has unique, distinct qualities, we go above and beyond to provide each person with a distinctive service that reflects each unique life. As we always say, "Every life is a life worth celebrating."

Although we have made many renovations and updates to the funeral home since our 1946 opening, we have preserved the building's original warmth and charm. In 1954, we added an extension to the building. Then, in 1978, we converted our upper level to add a large chapel, sitting room and offices. In 1992, we made more renovations in order to offer full handicap accessibility. Today, with two chapels, separate lounges, a children's play area and elegant decor on each level, our gorgeous funeral home offers comfort and convenience to the people it serves.
